Our girls are really good eaters. Really good in terms of they eat a ton of food. Not always really good in trying a variety of foods. They seem to like to eat really small meals and then snack the day away.
Snacky meals may be one of our greatest successes. I provide them with a huge plate of food and they eat whatever they want on the plate. I try to fill the plate with protein and veggies & fruit mostly, but always throw in a few of their favorite staples (like pretzels).
If you have a picky eater, this would be a great way to get them to try more food, as well.
