Shop update: New items!

Until recently, I had been in a bit of a funk.  Matt’s been working crazy hours and it’s been so hot that we’ve been stuck indoors.  The girls have been remarkably good, considering, but *I* am going crazy.  I figured it was time I got creative and sat down at the sewing machine.

I recently listed 2 new things in the shop.  The first is a listing for snack bags as birthday party favors.

I gave them as favors for Kate’s 2nd birthday and I think they were one of the most useful favors we’ve ever given.  At the time I filled them with small bags of goldfish crackers, a small box of raisins, and some fruit snacks.  I’ve already had customers fill them with a box of crayons, too.  And of course, you can give them empty!

The listing is for a set of 10 and includes embroidery.  You can pick from 2 different fabrics and there is a listing for organic or non-organic fabric.

I’ve also listed embroidered towels.  http://www.sewcurly.bigcartel.com/product/embroidered-towels-for-the-tub-beach-or-pool

They started as a custom order for a friend who wants to give them as a birthday gift.  I liked them so much, I made some for my own girls – who LOVE anything with their name on it.

The towels are perfect for the beach, pool, or even just the tub.  The material is super soft and is fast drying so they’ll dry quicker in the dryer.  They are similar to the burp cloths in that they have a ribbon at the bottom and the name is embroidered in a coordinating color.

Please know that if either of these colors don’t interest you, I love working on custom orders.  Just let me know what you are looking for!

Hope you are doing something to stay cool this weekend!

xoxo
