My Valentines

I knew that for Valentine’s Day I wanted to make something for the girls but I wasn’t sure what.  At first I thought maybe a dress but I realized I had some extra red corduroy fabric.  Then I found some long sleeve white t-shirts at Target for $2.50 and inspiration struck.
I decided to make simple skirts and embroider the shirt.  I was happy with the way they came out.  To keep the girls warmer than regular tights, they wore white cotton leggings under the skirt.  The skirts are a bit big too, so I am hoping they’ll be able to wear them again next year.
Here’s how they came out:

Caroline Grace decides to hug back because my mom bribed her with candy.  She’ll do anything for something sweet!
