I want to start doing a “Have you seen…?” feature every week. Things that I have seen on the internet that have inspired or struck a chord in me.
1. Melanie, from Above All Fabric, constantly does me in with her blog. She always posts new fabric and inspires me with cute projects. The Family Reunion dress is my favorite. I may have to make it as a back to school dress for the girls. Here’s a sneak peek of a picture:
So head over and look at all the other gorgeous pictures she posted of it. http://www.aboveallfabric.com/blog/?p=5272. And Melanie, I can’t read your blog any more. I don’t have time for all the things you inspire me to make. (I take that back! Totally kidding! I can’t go without inspiration from your site!)
2. A few weeks ago, I read this post from my friend Katie. Over two weeks later, I am still thinking about it. It resonates in me every time I speak in front of my children and when I think they can’t hear me. It’s a poignant reminder to live the life we want our children to live.
*** If you read nothing else this week, please read this post! ***
3. I’ve been reading Baked Bree for a long time. I’ve made a ton of her delicious recipes. This week she posted a new one I am dying to try. If you know me, it’s no secret I have a sweet tooth. As a matter of fact, I have the hips to prove it. One thing I think I could eat every day is cinnamon buns. Love, love, love them! This week she posted a recipe that made cinnamon buns using Land o’ Lakes’ Cinnamon Sugar Butter Spread. I love making cinnamon rolls from scratch and I can’t imagine how much easier using this spread would be. I can’t remember the last time I made cinnamon buns but I can tell you that I may be making them soon…
Have you seen anything lately that’s caught your eye? Let me know so I can take a look!
Hope everyone has a great week!
xoxo
