Products I Love – Cozy Woggle Coats

It’s not often that I see a product and want to write about it.  Even more important to note is that I am not getting compensated for this in any way so it is not a sponsored post.

If you have children I am sure you know that they should not be wearing their coats or anything except for a thin jacket under their car seat straps.  If you didn’t already know this, no worries.  Do a search on YouTube and you will find a bunch of videos showing why it’s important.

It can be quite a pain, especially with younger babies and kids, to have them in the car seat without a coat on for fear of them getting cold.  You open the door to unbuckle them and the cold air rushes in before you can get their coats on them.  It’s something parents everywhere complain about it.

2 weekends ago I attended a blogging/ small business conference in Alexandria, VA.  Besides meeting some amazing people and learning some important things, I was most impressed with Cherlyn Jenkins.

Cherlyn had a booth set up in the marketplace and her product is one I wish I would have had when the girls were little.  She makes the most gorgeous quilted coats that have zippers on the side.  The zipper is the most important part of the coat.  It allows a child to keep their coat on in the car seat and still stay warm, while their straps are buckled beneath the coat.

Here is a link to her website: http://www.cozywoggle.com/about-the-cozywoggle

It’s full of information.  You can order a coat there but they are also on Zulily* until Thursday for about $30 less.

Cherlyn may have also mentioned to me that if a bunch of moms wanted to get together to go in on coats together, there could be a discount.  😉

*That is my referral link for Zulily (even though I have no idea what that gets me)
